Matt Karas’s energizing and inspiring workshop on how to capture the “Motion of Emotion” teaches photographers of all levels, from beginners to professionals, how to capture not only the magic moments of dance, but its expressive potential as well.
Matt recently shot The Kennedy Center’s 2018-2019 season campaign working with dancers from Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, NYCB, and the Mariinsky Ballet; with over 50 Dance Magazine Covers and 15 years of experience Matt shares his techniques and gets you involved in the process. During the workshop, you will be shooting with a Hasselblad H6D using broncolor lighting equipment. Being tethered to the computer, you will see images immediately and be able to receive feedback.
